At ICS, we pride ourselves on being the most innovative certification organization in North America. We are pleased to announce one of the most innovative and exciting educational programs offered in the Registration industry in the past twenty years. We have designed a program for you that includes professional development as well as compensation opportunity.
The Program
The program is simple. We will provide audit opportunity to Quality Managers, Quality Engineers, Environmental Managers/Engineers or Internal Auditors. Working with fully qualified ICS personnel, the audit days so delivered will permit your team members to qualify through recognized third parties for full auditor status. We will schedule the selected individual(s) to audit at facilities that are as close to their home facilities and that are not owned by or in direct competition with your organization. We will pay the employer for the time their personnel are assigned to our audits. For example, if a client has two candidates in the program and they each audit twenty days per year, the client will be paid $18,000.
Benefits of the Program
- The employer is paid for each day their employee audits on our behalf.
- Employees develop new skills and experience to help them manage their ISO program.
- The employee improves their personal quality of working life
- The employee is exposed to a number of quality management systems improving their ability to manage their employer’s quality management system
Here’s How It Works
Once the employee and the organization decide they want to participate in the program, here’s how it works:
- The organization is (or becomes) a registration Client of ICS.
- The organization applies to ICS for admission to the program.
- The employee attends an accredited Lead Auditor program.
- The employee completes the required RABQSA documentation to become registered as an auditor.
- RABQSA will assess the applicant’s qualifications and may require a specified number of audit days to become a fully certified auditor. ICS will provide opportunity for applicants to complete these audit days, but no compensation will be issued under this program until applicants are fully certified by the RABQSA.
- Once fully certified by the RABQSA, they will be scheduled to audit at one of our clients as part of our audit team together with one of our lead auditors.
- The employer of the candidate will receive $450 in compensation for each day their employee audits on our behalf.
- The employee will be scheduled an average of one to two days per month, usually six months in advance.
Clients in the program are still subject to the normal auditing and registration process and fees.
