With the final draft of the standard getting closer, this workshop serves as an overview of the elements of the new standard.  ISO 50001 was established as an international standard for energy management in virtually all types of organizations. This standard has the potential to influence more than half of the world’s energy usage.  ISO 50001 is compatible with other ISO standards, in particular ISO 9001 for quality management and ISO 14001 for environmental management.
