Course Description

Our Problem Solving Training Workshop focuses on an eight step methodology and various tools and techniques used in a typical problem solving process.  This workshop outlines the importance of addressing root causes of problems and avoiding looking for temporary or ‘band-aid’ solutions which work only in the short-term.

Through the use of group activities, this workshop allows the participants to return to the workplace with the knowledge and tools to creatively deal with problems and decisions they may be facing.

Topics include:

  • An eight step problem solving methodology
  • Continuous Improvement as an organizational value
  • Ishikawa charts
  • The 5 W's
  • Cause and effect
  • Pareto charts
  • Histograms
